MY THOUGHTS ON BROTHER IMAM...
I can remember sitting in a crowded venue waiting for the Imam to speak and blow the minds of many fellow muslims who have travelled long and far to get a clear view of the Islamic life and the Qur'an. Even at this young age, I was able to comprehend everything that brother Imam would present. While it was all from the most reliable source(the Qur'an), there were still people would doubt that Imam Mohammed was the right man to lead the islamic community and it didn't take me long to understand why.
I've lived 25 years on this earth and throughout my time I've experienced situations that have caused me to be in front of others, however I much rather lead by example than by position. The Imam has taught alot to alot of people(muslim and non-muslim)and what I have taken from him is that God is the best of planners and God should be first in everyone's life, because whenever you saw W.D. Mohammed he would always show that he is a obedient servant of God. While we have lost a very valuable leader in the Islamic community, his teachings of the Qur'an will not die and I would like everyone to know that he has made an impact on my life as well as many others.
May Peace and blessing be on him.
