I know that flirting can be a huge source of contempt in relationships. Some guys see their partners flirting with other men and go ballistic. Some women see guys flirting with other women and think he's trying to score.

And while I know that flirting can be a dangerous game if you're playing with the wrong people, I also believe that flirting can be healthy - as long as you're taking the energy you're building and putting it back into your relationship.

So, what can innocent flirting with a co-worker, stranger, or random bartender do to help your relationship? More than you may think.

Flirting Gives You Confidence

A relationship progresses after some time, and both sides fall into the same rut of Friday pizza, Saturday out, and sleepy Sunday. Same old, same old. The message: We're stuck together, we're comfortable together, and we may be perfectly content together.

All well and good, but that does as much for your romantic confidence as having spinach in your teeth. What flirting allows you to do is feel like you're impressing another person and being attractive to another person - without the baggage, stigma, and pressures of the next step. Bringing that sexual and romantic confidence back to your relationship helps you - and strengthens the relationship across the board.

Flirting Keeps You Sharp

Being wanted is one of our most basic needs. Sometimes, when we're in relationships, we don't always get that positive vibe - that we're wanted, needed, and desired.

Every once in a while, flirting can reinforce that primitive need of feeling valued. And that little innocent dialogue with some stranger in a bookstore may be all the kick-start you need to lose a little weight or change up your hair or whatever it is that you want to do to make yourself feel better about yourself. Which has benefits for everyone involved.

Flirting Lets You Build Up Sexual Energy

Some shrinks say it's OK to fantasize about anyone you want and build up a head of OR steam - as long as you, well, go ahead then and release that pent up energy with your partner.





So in a way, you can use flirting as a kind of foreplay. Build a little frisky tension with the barista, get warmed up, then bring home the dividends. And when you're at home, leave a copy of this list around the house. Think of it as a kind of flirting with your partner - and a fun to-do list.

Flirting Reminds You How Good You Have It

The fun of flirting is that there are no strings attached. Just some good ole banter with jokes, laughs, and some well-timed sexual innuendo. Fun at first. But when you think of the long process that comes after, it makes you realize that what you've got at home is exactly what you want.

The following are some of the interesting matchups to watch when the Steelers visit Foxborough for a game against the undefeated New England Patriots:

STEELERS OFFENSE VS. PATRIOTS QB TOM BRADY: It’s not exactly avant-garde thinking to figure out the best way to deal with Tom Brady’s multiple skills is to keep him on the sideline. That’s an impossibility for the entire game, but there are times when it’s more important. One of those times is at the end of the game. Some will look at the close games the Patriots had against the Eagles and the Ravens and claim those serve as a blueprint for how to end an undefeated season. But actually, those two teams offered a blueprint on how to lose to New England. Brady’s fourth-quarter comebacks in both of those games never happen if the Eagles and Ravens converted third downs in the fourth quarter to maintain possession of the football. Philadelphia failed because of turnovers; the Ravens failed because of three-and-outs. If a team does enough things right to have a lead in the fourth quarter against the Patriots, it then becomes incumbent upon that team’s offense to convert third downs to hold onto the ball – and keep the king of comebacks on the sideline.

STEELERS SECONDARY VS. PATRIOTS WR RANDY MOSS: There are a lot of problems presented by the Patriots offense, and the primary one for every opponent is the big-play ability of Moss. Big plays kill a defense just as surely as turnovers kill an offense, and this seems to shape up as a matchup of strength vs. strength. The Steelers have allowed only seven completions of 25-plus yards, and the only one longer than 40 was the 56-yard flea flicker from Kellen Clemens to Laveranues Coles on the second play of the game against the Jets. Conversely, Moss alone has eight catches longer than 25 yards, and six of those eight are longer than 40. If Moss is making plays deep down the field against the Steelers defense, anything else the unit might be doing correctly will be for naught.

STEELERS ROLB JAMES HARRISON VS. PATRIOTS LT MATT LIGHT: One of the impressive things about the Patriots offensive line is it plays better as a unit than the talents of the individuals might indicate it would. Light is rarely mentioned when the league’s top left tackles are listed, but since he is charged with the most important job on that team – protecting Brady’s blind side – he must be pretty good. And the fact Brady has been sacked only 16 times in 430 attempts proves the point. Harrison, who was named the NFL’s Player of the Month for November, leads the Steelers with 8.5 sacks, and that puts him in a tie for fourth in the AFC. Light is going to have to adjust quickly to Harrison’s speed and explosion, or he’s going to lose the battle of leverage every time. The Steelers have to get pressure on Brady, or they’ll have no chance to win. It’s not Harrison’s job alone, but he’s going to have to play well.

STEELERS QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER VS. PATRIOTS OLB MIKE VRABEL: One of the most glaring errors of the Bill Cowher era here was the coaching staff’s inability to figure out a place to play Mike Vrabel. That Cowher and defensive coordinator Jim Haslett were incapable of finding a spot on the field for Vrabel led to the loss of a guy via free agency who just might be the best player on a Patriots defense that also includes DE Richard Seymour, NT Vince Wilfork, OLB Adalius Thomas and CB Assante Samuel. Vrabel leads the Patriots with 9.5 sacks, and he also has 56 tackles, four forced fumbles, plus a couple of touchdown catches as an extra tight end in goal-line situations. Roethlisberger is going to have to deal with a lot of things in this game at New England, and figuring out where Vrabel is and what he might be doing on any particular play could be one of the more difficult ones.

STEELERS PK JEFF REED VS. PATRIOTS KOR ELLIS HOBBS: Imagine the surge of energy that would flow through the Steelers sideline after a touchdown against the Patriots. Now, imagine the impact that a touchdown return on the ensuing kickoff would have, not only to the Steelers sideline but also throughout the stands at Gillette Stadium. Hobbs is averaging 27 yards per kickoff return, and he has brought one back this season 108 yards for a touchdown. The Steelers have had some success with Reed altering the depth of his kickoffs, and if that’s what’s again necessary to corral a dangerous return man, then so be it.

AllHipHop.com: So what’s The Solution?

Beanie Sigel: To what?

AllHipHop.com: Word is the title was Return of the Bad Guy, so why is it now The Solution?

Beanie Sigel: The first song I recorded when I had came home, it was a track that used a sample from the Scarface movie, so that’s where that came from. That was the first song I did called “Return of the Bad Guy”. That was the generic title. And then I started recording; towards the end I was searching for a title cause the music, to me, it was strong, it was different in production and a lot of things I usually do as far as music wise than my other albums. I think this might be the strongest one to date as far as the music, the lyrics, the production. So, The Solution. The solution to me for a lot of things as far as getting the music that I want to hear in the course of a day, I really can’t hear it if I’m listening to the radio or watching videos. It’s the solution to that, for me. It’s the solution to problems, whether it be mine or somebody else’s. I made a lot of songs that people can get stuff from.

AllHipHipHop.com: You record The B. Coming knowing you were about to go to jail, besides that was there any difference in your approach to recording this new album?

Beanie Sigel: The B. Coming, I was rushing. At first while I was taking my time doing a lot of songs. When I do my album; I record, if I ain’t feeling the music, I’ll put it away. He might be like [pointing to his associate], "Naw, you crazy, that song’s it." That’s been my whole thing in my career. I record like 15, 16, 17 songs and they ready to put that album out as soon as I get that one that they think can be a single, they ain’t even worrying about the second or third single, "Put it out, put it out!" I always was rushed. This album here will be my first album I can say I completed [it] at my own pace and I’m comfortable and I’m ready to put it out.

AllHipHop.com: The music didn’t sound rushed on The B. Coming and you had a plan going in, did it not come together?

Beanie Sigel: The promotion plan ain’t go through. I knew I was going to have to go away for a minute, everybody knew. So I did as much as I could once I found out what my time was, I had to go away for a year and a day. I did enough things that if I couldn’t promote it physically there was a visual. I did seven videos in five days. I recorded my whole court process. My whole house arrest time, I did like 18 weeks on house arrest. A whole mixtape I recorded in my house on house arrest—I brought equipment and built a studio in my house. I was in there recording songs everyday. I had all that footage on film. After I went in it was like put it out and it do what it just do. I think if [the label] paid a little more attention to it, for what it was that album could have been a lot bigger.

I mean it went gold but if they had pushed it man…
The court stuff it was there, so it was like, What can I do to use this to help me? Anything that they tried to use against me I was using it for me. I did a lot of work man but I felt it went in vain.

AllHipHipHop.com:: So what’s the label is this new album coming out on, Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam? Def Jam?

Beanie Sigel: Def Jam.

AllHipHipHop.com:: Def Jam, ok…

Beanie Sigel: Roc-a-Fella [chuckling]

AllHipHop.com: Fans where expecting you to hit the ground running when you were released from prison, did you take your time on purpose?

Beanie Sigel: Actually when I came home…I ain’t write no music while I was locked up. I ain’t write one rap when I was away.

AllHipHop.com: Why not?

Beanie Sigel: Just the atmosphere, it wasn’t it for me. I ain’t feel it, yanahmean? I was in jail so I wasn’t Beanie Sigel, I was regular. So I didn’t even think about writing raps. I was writing my raps without writing them, if that sounds…that’s an oxymoron, whatever.

I was writing my raps without writing them by just soaking in a lot of stuff that was around me. Stuff that I was seeing, hearing, interacting with different people in the jail. The raps was already there I just had to put them down when I came home. I had a lot to talk about, so it was there. I just had to put it down and get to the music.

So when I first came home, just with the situation of the Roc-a-Fella break up and the split up there was a lot of things that just turned me off from making music at that point; on the business side of things. When I finally got my situation straight, like I wanted to have it, I started recording.

I wanted to have a break. It felt good to have a time out for a minute. I ain’t wanna leave from the music, go away to jail, and then come back and jump right back into it. I wanted to get time to relax, downtime, family with my kids and stuff and just slowly get back into it and that’s what I did.

Usually I just go in the studio and just record; whether it’s 16 bars, put that on the beat, sit it over there and we get back to it. I ain’t do that on this album. When I went in I knew I was going in to make a song. I ain’t do mixtape stuff, none of that. Everything that I was writing was for album purposes.

AllHipHop.com: You just mentioned wanting to get your "situation" straight, what do you mean?

Beanie Sigel: My situation as far me getting back into the thing. Making that transition from the Roc-a-Fella split and where I was going to be and what I felt that I wanted at the time from the label or whatever. Once I got that straightened how I wanted it, that’s when I went in and started recording.

AllHipHop.com: Is it true you’re not going to be working with Dame anymore or is that just a rumor?

Beanie Sigel: I mean a lot of people thought I was going to be on Dame Dash Music Group when I came home. That wasn’t the case. I was in the position where I had to choose between two of my friends and I wasn’t willing to compromise that so I just backed out of the whole situation period.

AllHipHop.com: But you’re on Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam now, so how did your current situation come to be?

Beanie Sigel: I’m on Def Jam/Roc-a-Fella.

AllHipHop.com: So I’m assuming you’re cool with both of Dame and Jay-Z still?

Beanie Sigel: Yeah, I don’t have no problem with nobody. It’s just that actually, to be totally honest, I was always still signed to Roc-a-Fella, being binded by contract. It really wasn’t a matter of making a choice, it was just a decision. Cause really they could have kept me binded by my contract and there wasn’t nothing I could do about that.

AllHipHop.com: So what’s the status of your clothing line?

Beanie Sigel: Right now I’m trying to iron a lot of things out with the clothing line. When I had to go away a lot of stuff was just left in Dame’s hands and he made a lot of decisions with the clothing line that I wouldn’t make. Right now I’m trying to straighten out a lot of business so I can get the clothing line back how it should be.

AllHipHop.com: What’s about the cartoon you were working?

Beanie Sigel: Yeah, The Playpen. I’m still trying to push that. The people I had working on the cartoon they made a lot of decisions on what they thought that I would want to happen and a lot of things got screwed up. I’m still in that process of fixing a lot of things. People took it upon theyself [sic] to do a lot of things, to make a lot of decisions that wasn’t correct.

Beanie Sigel: Start all over. That’s what this is. That’s how I’m working right now, like this is my first album, coming out, starting all over again.

AllHipHop.com: One line you said on the album was, “Gonna learn that I was more than a gun and a song." You saying you’ve been misunderstood?

Beanie Sigel: Yeah, I’m more than a gun and a song. You can’t just judge a person by the media nowadays or what you read because nowadays good news is no news. There’s a lot of good going on that you don’t hear about, cause it’s not exciting. That’s why they got magazines and tabloids, it’s gossip. A lot of people just think that’s what it is. They look at the movies, people who don’t know me, Who’s Beanie Sigel, they look at State Property and they be like, Oh that’s him. I’m stuck with that character. [mimicking a scared voice] I wanted to say something but I was scared, cause in State Property you looked…
But this is not State Property, this is real life.

AllHipHop.com: You ever wonder if what if instead of rolling with the Roc you had rolled with The Roots?

Beanie Sigel: No, I ain’t never think about that. Umm hmm [Note: Sigel asks, "What you think?" to his associate, who says, "Roots fans wouldn’t have been ready for him."]
I don’t think we would have complimented each other, at the time.

Actually them vocals on “Adrenaline”, I probably recorded that maybe a year prior to me even meeting Jay-Z. Me and Tariq [Black Thought], we grew up together. Actually that was my first rhyming partner in elementary school. Me and Malik B, we was real tight so I went with him down to the studio one time. When I recorded it, I wasn’t even thinking about being a rapper. It was just something that I knew how to do. So I went down there with him, we was in there f*cking around. Scott Storch was playing for them at the time so he was just playing around, bullsh*tting on the keyboard and he had made the little beat or whatever, he just was f*cking around. Malik kept telling me go ahead record, I’m like, "Nah man, I ain’t doing that sh*t." So they had a couple of raps that I had did that day cause we was just in there bullsh*tting around [but] they recorded it. Then when I got signed with Roc-a-Fella, I had put out a mixtape. I was just putting joints out in the street, they had called and said, "Yo, what you going to do with that verse you had did on the jawn?" So I came down to the studio and they had my vocals from back then and I ain’t know what they was talking about at first. So when I came down and I heard it, I ain’t even remember that sh*t. I had to keep listening to it and I went in there and re-did it over for them. They was like "Yo, we want this verse right here, the same way you did it, cause it wasn’t even a full beat [originally]. That’s how that song happened.

STEELERS SHUT-OUT SEAHAWKS




THE DEFENSE WAS WITHOUT STARTERS: CASEY HAMPTON, TROY POLOMALU, HINES WARD, AND BREAKOUT WR SANTONIO HOLMES. I THOUGHT HONESTLY THAT MY BELOVED STILLER BOYZ WERE GONNA HAVE A TOUGH GAME BUT FROM THE START IT WAS ALL DEFENSE. UNTIL ABOUT THE LAST 2 MINUTES OF THE FIRST HALF THE STEELER'S OFFENSE LOOKED LIFELESS, Roethlisberger MADE SOME KEY THROWS DOWN FIELD THEY SPREAD THE FIELD AND NAJEH DAVENPORT STEPPED UP COMPLETELY!

IN ALL FAIRNESS, THIS MATCH WAS ONE SIDED, THE WHOLE "STARTERS ARE OUT...WE AREN'T GONNA PLAY GOOD DEFENSE" WENT OUT THE WINDOW. THE FIRST COUPLE DRIVES THE SEAHAWKS MOVED THE BALL DOWNFIELD, GAINING YARDS BUT NOT WHEN IT COUNTED ON THIRD DOWN. TATUPU WAS VERY INSTRUMENTAL IN THEIR DEFENSE'S SLOW BURN ON 'FAST WILLIE' PARKER, ALTHOUGH THEY STAYED IN HIS FACE, HE GRINDED OUT A HEFTY 102 YDS ON 28 CARRIES.

On the possession that essentially broke the game open, Pittsburgh overcame three holding calls in one seven-play stretch and a 10-yard sack to score on backup tailback Najeh Davenport's one-yard dive over left tackle. Unofficially, the Steelers gained 107 yards on the drive, which opened up a 14-0 lead. Most importantly, though, the Steelers converted three long third-down plays.

Roethlisberger threw to wideout Cedrick Wilson for 15 yards on a third-and-13. Then he hit Miller for 13 yards on a third-and-8. On a third-and-17, following a 10-yard sack by Ellis Wyms, he went back to Wilson again for 17 yards.

"Those plays," said Seattle free safety Deon Grant, "are [killers]. You've got to make a play on third down. They did and we didn't. It's that simple. We'd put them in a hole, then we couldn't keep them down. We couldn't get ourselves off the field."

The fact that the Pittsburgh offense was able to so thoroughly control the tempo against a very good Seattle defense, and without the fast emerging Holmes and four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Hines Ward (sprained knee), must be a confidence builder.

Everyone knows that tough, aggressive defense is a Pittsburgh staple, and that was the case again in shutting down a high-powered Seahawks attack. Pittsburgh pestered quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, holding him to an anemic 116 yards and a 44.7 passer rating and sacking him twice. Tailback Shaun Alexander, who looked tentative as he continues to play with a cast on his broken left wrist, managed 25 yards on 11 carries.

Counting playoff contests, it was the 30th straight outing in which the Steelers did not allow an individual 100-yard performance. In the second half, the Steelers surrendered just one first down and 33 yards on 13 snaps. And the shutout was only the second against a Mike Holmgren-coached team in 245 regular-season games.

But even without Polamalu and Hampton, the Steelers' defense still has a lot of playmakers.

If the offense can develop a few more key components to go along with Ward and Holmes, tailback Willie Parker (28 carries for 102 yards) and Miller (four receptions, 44 yards) -- and if Roethlisberger manages games the way he did Sunday -- the Steelers could surprise some people.

At 4-1, in first place in the AFC North and with a bye next week, which will allow some wounded players should be able to recover before Pittsburgh resumes play at Denver on Oct. 21, the Steelers exited Heinz Field on Sunday feeling pretty confident about themselves.

With good reason.

"The coaches keep challenging us," wide receiver Nate Washington said. "And we keep demonstrating to them we're ready to step up to the challenge. We showed that today."

Steelers Take Lead in AFC North


Steelers Jumped out 7-0 before I even turned on the tv, (LOL) I was on my way, running up the stairs to turn on the steeler game because I realized that It's a couple minutes past 1pm and the I know my stillerboyz are playing them Cleveland Brownies. I knew yesterday talking to some of my friends about the game that we were gonna spank the Brownies and their new 'toys' from the draft. Unfortunately, Cleveland's starting QB Charlie Frye couldn't get the job done.

Romeo Cornell decided to use 2nd String QB Derek Anderson(Oregon St.)who couldn't do too much more but did manage to keep the Browns from being completely shut out.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- As the Steelers huddled around him, Mike Tomlin was presented with a game ball following his first game as Pittsburgh's coach.

The Cleveland Browns handed him win No. 1 much earlier.

In their first game in 15 years without iconic coach Bill Cowher stalking the sideline, the Steelers blitzed, battered and bullied their way to a 34-7 win over the hapless Browns, whose season opener couldn't have gone much worse.

Ben Roethlisberger threw a career-high four touchdown passes as Pittsburgh built an early 17-0 lead and rolled for Tomlin, the easy-going 35-year-old former defensive coordinator who shares Cowher's passion -- not his volcanic personality.

It was imperative for the Browns to play mistake-free football against Pittsburgh and they couldn't have been further off that script. Cleveland QBs Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson were overwhelmed and confused against the Steelers' blitz package. Pittsburgh used overload, cornerback and zone blitzes to consistently harass the Browns' signal-caller. It didn't matter who was taking the snaps, Pittsburgh found a way to get to him and ended up with six sacks. Anderson and Frye couldn't sense the pressure and insisted on holding the football far too long. Even when Cleveland begun to create a little momentum, it would squelch that momentum by taking a costly sack or committing a penalty.

"This win is not about me," Tomlin said. "This is the story of the 2007 Steelers."

And it began the way other seasons have, with a romp over the Browns, whose complete breakdown on an early punt set the tone for another embarrassing day of turnovers, sacks and ineptitude.

Tomlin did his best to hide his emotions, but he was clearly moved by the Steelers' outpouring of respect following the game.

"You can see the excitement in his eyes," Roethlisberger said. "He really doesn't get rah-rah. As a player you like that. He's calm. You don't have to worry about getting yelled at or spit on or getting stuff thrown at you."

Willie Parker rushed for 109 yards as Pittsburgh started the Tomlin Era with the kind of bruising victory that typified Cowher's tenure in the Steel City. Cowher went 21-5 against the Browns, but Tomlin did something even his iron-jawed predecessor couldn't: beat Cleveland in his first meeting.

Cowher, who left the Steelers in January to become a TV analyst, lost his first game against the Browns after replacing Hall of Famer Chuck Noll in 1992.

Pittsburgh dominated in all phases, forcing five turnovers and recording six sacks.

"We were expecting a lot more," said Browns coach Romeo Crennel, who dropped to 1-12 against AFC North teams and is winless in five cracks at the Steelers. "We dug ourselves a tremendous hole, and in the NFL, when you dig yourself a hole, it's hard to get out. We're not good enough to overcome a hole as deep as we dug."

Crennel recently received an unsolicited vote of confidence from general manager Phil Savage. But all the back slaps in the world won't help the third-year coach unless he wins.

By the end of the third, the Steelers led 31-7 and disgusted Browns fans fled as a steady rain further dampened what they had hoped would be a better beginning for a team that has had just one winning season since 1999.

That year, the Steelers stomped the Browns 43-0 in Cleveland's expansion return, a thumping that led to rookie quarterback Tim Couch being handed the starter's job before he or the team was ready.

The Browns, who have lost eight in a row and 14 of 15 to Pittsburgh, could be faced with a similar decision.

Crennel benched starting quarterback Charlie Frye in the first half. Frye went 4-for-10 for 34 yards, threw an interception and held the ball way too long while being flushed from the pocket.

Derek Anderson came in and didn't do much better, but he did throw a 1-yard TD pass to Lawrence Vickers to avoid a shutout.

And while their team was being dismantled, Browns fans periodically broke into chants for rookie Brady Quinn, who was designated the team's No. 3 quarterback but could soon be elevated to No. 1.

Crennel said he would have to watch game film before deciding on his starter for next week against Cincinnati.

The Steelers have no such worries. Roethlisberger, determined to put a sub-par 2006 behind him, went 12-of-23 for 161 yards. He threw two TD passes in the first quarter and two more in the third for the Steelers, who started last season 2-6 and missed the playoffs one year after winning the Super Bowl.

"There wasn't much I didn't like," Tomlin said. "I guess a few penalties. We could have played the game a little cleaner."

The Browns imploded shortly after kickoff.

On their first fourth down, newly signed Cleveland punter Paul Ernster let the snap slip through his hands before scrambling to get off a 15 yarder.

Cleveland was whistled for four infractions -- two holds, an illegal formation and having a man downfield -- on the play and the Steelers scored moments later when Roethlisberger hit Hines Ward on a 5-yarder.

The romp was on.

"I'd like to think we got the bad one out of our system," Browns wide receiver Joe Jurevicius.

Game notes

Quinn was designated as Cleveland's third quarterback. Crennel said he never considered bringing in the first-round pick. "What was I going to do, put him in there and throw him to the dogs?" ... Jeff Reed kicked two field goals for Pittsburgh. ... Browns Hall of Fame guard Gene Hickerson, enshrined last month, served as an honorary captain. At halftime, Hickerson, whose health has been declining in recent years, was presented with his Hall of Fame ring.

Snoop Plays in 'Entourage'

Snoop Dogg is taking it from the LBC to Hollywood once again: The legendary MC recently filmed a role for the HBO dramedy "Entourage."

The Dogg admitted he's a huge fan of the program but did have a hidden agenda for wanting to mix it up with Ari, Turtle and the gang.

"That's a great show," he explained. "I'm glad they had me do that. I love good TV. HBO is doing their thing with 'Entourage' and 'The Wire' and 'Sopranos.'

"They called me to be a part of ['Entourage'], I used that as leverage to try and be on 'The Wire,' " he continued with a smile. "You know how I get down. I'm trying to get in the system. I'm the type of person that if I love something, I'mma say it. If you an artist and you fly, I'mma tell you, 'Yo homie, I like what you do. You fly, you off the hook. Can I get with you?' That's how I was with 'Entourage,' that's how I am with 'The Wire.' They ain't call me yet. They just using my name in there."

Snoop Dogg is referring to Snoop from "The Wire" — the homicidally unabashed hit woman who goes by the same name and is played by Felicia Pearson. The Snoop born Calvin Broadus appears on "Entourage" in July. He plays himself.

TIP has been hard at work promoting his Alter Ego Album Release: "TIP vs. TI" which is set to drop later this year.
He has already released a video for TIP's first single "Big Things Poppin" and has already went ahead finished the video for TI's first single "You Know What It Is" featuring Wyclef Jean, who also produced the song. Although this video is done there isn't a release date for the second video but keeps eyes and ears open and I'll keep ya posted!

Roc-A-Fella Records or the Dame Dash Music Group? Beanie Sigel found himself caught in the middle when Dash and Jay-Z ended their long partnership a few years back.

"I definitely didn't want to pick between my friends," Sigel said recently in New York, where he was at work on his new LP, The Solution. "Who wants to do that? Where I'm from we don't do that. I don't blow whichever way the wind goes. I couldn't pick between my friends.

"The reason why I didn't make that decision, I didn't know what the situation [with Jay and Dame] was, why [the split] happened. I've asked both sides and didn't get a legitimate answer before I had to go [to prison]. It unfolded while I was locked up. I just wanted my own situation where if I was to make music, it wouldn't be me choosing Dame Dash Music Group or the Roc. Technically I was still a Roc-A-Fella artist during the split."

It took more than a year to make a decision — different scenarios of Sigel going to G-Unit as well as starting his own label were rumored — but ultimately, Beans went with Hov, and will release his next album on Roc-A-Fella this year. The move may seem a bit surprising from the outside looking in, because it seemed like Sigel was in fact closer to Dash and business partner Kareem "Biggs" Burke, who was the third head of the Roc before the split. Dash and Burke were even there to pick Beanie up from jail when he was released on August 9, 2005, after being sentenced to a year in prison on a gun charge in October of 2004.

"A lot of things be smoke and mirrors," the Broad Street Bully reflected. "A lot of people thought I was leaning toward Dame Dash Music Group — they seeing Dame in the videos we shooting and the 'House Arrest' thing they put on BET, and him coming to court and coming to jail to see me. It was like 'OK, Dame is riding with him.' That was never the case with me. A lot of people look at it like Dame did this, that and third, that should have been my obligation. But for what? If you doing that, you doing it from the heart."

Damon Dash
Sigel said when he was released from prison, he started feeling like Dame had ulterior motives for staying close to him. "When you look at Roc-A-Fella as whole — no disrespect to any other artists over there — but if you don't have Jay-Z, who's the next best thing for you to have? I'm no dummy, I'm no fool. I seen through all that. I was letting that weigh out. There's a song by Bill Withers: 'Use Me.' "

Asked if he thought Dame's intentions were pure, Beanie simply answered, "I don't know what his intentions were, but in all honesty: Nah.

"After a while I felt like sh-- for feeling like that," he continued. "You don't want to question your friend, or who you thought was your friend. Their loyalty and sincerity towards you, you don't want to question that. As time went on, I did things to bring stuff out to light, and I was finding out a lot of stuff that wasn't right."

Sigel also hinted that the State Property clothing line that Dash ran and Beans had a stake in may be all but over. "Ain't no status," he said. "Ain't no status." ...

Three 6 Album Pushed Back

In light of the recent success of their MTV reality show, "Adventures In Hollyhood," Three 6 Mafia are now pushing back the release date of their latest album. Meanwhile, former member Crunchy Black prepares for a solo disc of his own.

The group's forthcoming studio album Last 2 Walk was originally slated for an April release before being delayed until May. Now, the duo's latest set is scheduled to hit stores on July 3 in an effort to better work around the group's reality show, which premiered last month on MTV.

Last 2 Walk will be the follow-up disc to 2005's Most Known Unknowns, which featured the hits "Stay Fly" and "Poppin' My Collar." The new record boasts a healthy list of guest appearances including Lyfe Jennings, Paul Wall, 8Ball & MJG, Akon, The Game, Lil' Jon and Lil' Wayne. The disc also features Houston's Chamillionaire, who makes an appearance on the album's lead single "Doe Boy Fresh," which is currently receiving both national radio and video airplay.

In related news, former member Crunchy Black is also set to release a solo album entitled From Me To You on June 12. The album will be released through the Hypnotize Minds/Asylum imprint and will feature new songs as well as "chopped and screwed" cuts from the Memphis rapper.

Bobby V. Releases "Special Occasion" Album



Atlanta r&b singer Bobby Valentino is set to unveil his sophomore release Special Occasion today (may 8) via Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam.

Valentino finally releases his much anticipated second album Special Occasion after several delays. The album was originally slated hit stores last October, then after having the CD pushed to February, several tracks were leaked to the internet, further delaying the project.

The album features appearance from fellow DTP artists Shareefa and Ludacris as well as Fabolous. The record includes production from Tim & Bob, Timbaland, Dre & Vidal, Brian Cox and Rodney Jerkins.

LAS VEGAS – Diego Corrales, a former world champion boxer who scored one of the most memorable knockouts in boxing history, died Monday in a three-vehicle accident near his Las Vegas home.

Corrales was driving a 2007 Suzuki 1000 motorcycle, traveling northbound on Fort Apache Road in the southwest part of the city, when it inexplicably struck the back of a 1997 Honda Accord, Las Vegas police spokesman Sgt. Tracy McDonald said.

McDonald said the motorcycle careened into the southbound lane and, at some point, he was tossed off the bike.

A 2004 Mercedes-Benz traveling in the southbound lane was unable to brake in time. McDonald said the driver, who was not identified, "was unable to avoid striking the motorcycle and possibly the operator of the motorcycle also."

"Diego Corrales lived an 'X Games lifestyle,' " his promoter, Gary Shaw said. "He was a true warrior. He did everything hard and fast. He loved anything to the extreme. He was the kind of guy in the ring you never had to worry about quitting. I don't know how many times he would say, 'They'll have to kill me first.' "

Corrales' wife, Michelle, who is seven months pregnant, was on the scene and identified the body shortly after 11 p.m. PT. The accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. McDonald said there was no outward evidence of drugs or alcohol involved.

He could not say how fast the motorcycle was traveling.

"There is still a lot of evidence to go through," McDonald said.

Corrales, who was 40-5 and held world championships in both the junior lightweight and lightweight divisions, was the victor in one of the most storied bouts in the sport's history.

On May 7, 2005, he and Jose Luis Castillo engaged in a toe-to-toe slugfest for nine rounds at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Twice Castillo knocked down Corrales in the 10th round and appeared on the verge of knocking him out.

But Corrales arose after the second knockout and fought back with a fury, and he wound up stopping Castillo in what would become the 2005 Fight of the Year. It also would be his last victory.

"No one who ever saw that fight will ever forget it," Shaw said. "There weren't that many people in the arena that night, but I know there are hundreds of thousands of people who now say they were there because that was one of those nights. He belongs in the Hall of Fame based on that fight alone."

In a June 2, 2006, story in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Corrales spoke of his love of extreme sports. He told a story of jumping from a plane at 14,000 feet, snowboarding on rocky terrain and scuba diving with a school of sharks.

He said he liked the rush he got from those types of sports.

"I'm only young once, and unless someone hasn't told me something yet, I only get to live once," Corrales told the Review-Journal. "If I couldn't do this stuff now, stuff I always wanted to do, I would never get a chance to do it."

The father of five children, Corrales struggled through the last part of his life. He had financial difficulties and used part of a signing bonus he had received from Golden Boy Promotions to pay back taxes he owed.

However, Golden Boy was seeking the money back because it turned out he was not free to sign with the company and still was under contract to Shaw. As Yahoo! Sports reported last week, Corrales had signed a legal document promising to repay the money.

The knockout win over Castillo turned out to be the last of his career. He was knocked out in the fourth round of the Oct. 8, 2005, rematch with Castillo, a bout marked by a controversy when Castillo failed to make the lightweight division limit of 135 pounds.

Corrales agreed to fight at 147 pounds so as not to disappoint fans who had purchased tickets. But Castillo then failed to make weight for a planned June 3, 2006, rubber match, and that bout was canceled.

Corrales then didn't make weight for an Oct. 7, 2006, bout with Joel Casamayor and wound up losing his title on a split decision. In his last bout, on April 7, he was soundly beaten in a welterweight match by Joshua Clottey.

"He gave every ounce of himself every time he was in there," his manager, James Prince, said. "He was a fearless guy, and I'll always remember how hard he fought no matter what the circumstances."

Miss Info gives Info about Cam'ron/Dipset

MISS INFO EXCLUSIVE…..A DIPSET SPLIT?

wow…..I have no words….well I have words, but I’m stunned. Just got off the phone with Jim Jones….(background: I’ve known Jimmy and Cam long before I was “Miss Info” so I’ve seen both of their careers develop over the years from both a professional standpoint and as a friend).

Wow…..

anyways, Jim told me, “on the record,” that he and the whole rest of the Diplomats crew, or the Dipset 300 as he put it….that they are collectively “putting Cam’ron on punishment.”

Are Jimmy and Juelz ex-communicating Cam’ron from Dipset? Can they even do that, since Cam’ron owns the brand?
Just marinate on that for a moment.

This Monday night, Jimmy is gonna be on the show…Funkmaster Flex (featuring Miss Info’s Celebrity Drama) on Hot97, so its pretty safe to say, that conversation is gonna shut down the city (and the world, thanks to the web). If you have an Amp’d Mobile phone, you can also hear it streaming live on your cell. Jim didnt want me to give everything away before he hits Funk Flex but he reached out today because we’ve known each other for a long time…..

Ok, on Monday, I’m pretty sure Jimmy is gonna share his feelings on this past week’s alleged incident in which Tru Life allegedly punched Cam’ron outside of Club Stereo. Remember, Cam’s camp has denied this happened. Jimmy has some shocking suspicions about what went down and why….

To be real, I’m still in shock about what Jimmy said, but obviously there have been many signs of dissension in the ranks. If you look at the separation of projects, some public showings with noticeable absences, and then those interesting comments from 50 cent about Jim Jones during the 50-vs-Cam beef.

Now, to be fair, I’m gonna reach out to Cam’ron and get his side of the situation….and I’m sure he’ll speak to Flex too. But while we all wait for the other shoe to drop on Monday night with Flex….I’ll leave you with a quote from Jimmy.

“Me and Cam’ron havent spoken to each other in a year…. I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we cant be friends then at least we can do business together….But now I can’t be next to you….I’m through wit being in hot water because of you….We still the Diplomats. We worked too hard to achieve our own success and now we’re gonna do something new….”

UPDATE: According to an inside source, Juelz Santana is not siding against Cam….I’m confused and I hope all these guys meet in the middle and work things out peacefully. They’ve been friends since childhood, so you gotta think there’s a chance to resolve things. Right?

Pretty Boy's Last Stand?



It's hard to believe that a man in his prime and being in the pinnacle of his career could easily make a decision to quit a profession that he has reigned supremely dominant in. It's even harder to believe that even after all the scrutiny, Floyd Mayweather Jr. prevailed over the Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya and there still may be some that don't believe. Round after Round Mayweather was in total control of the outcome, staying poised and showing no remnants of the wild punches that were thrown by De La Hoya.

If this was your first time watching a boxing match and you were disappointed no one was knocked out, I'll apologize, because due to the history of the two boxers and knowing their fighting styles, this was EXACTLY the fight that should have been expected. Floyd Mayweather Jr, an accurate puncher, picking his shots, one by one and blocking De La Hoya's flurries of punches, many of which weren't landing where they were being thrown. Neither fighter looked hurt by the end of the 12th and the Rounds went so fast that it looked as if they could have went 15 rounds, De La Hoya showed he could give a younger, quicker, Mayweather a run but was unable to break down Mayweather's defense. His best & most effective punches was his Jab that he used for 2 rounds which he abandoned and was later qouted:

The Magnitude of this fight will leave a lasting bitter taste for some but for others this is the stamp of approval, the legendary battle of the champion vs. contender, the Pound for Pound Best boxer against a World boxing Mogul. It's no question that Mayweather won this fight, but after tonight, saying that we won't see either boxer in the ring again would be a hard assumption.

"Look at the punch stats and then you can see I'm the new champion," Mayweather said. "I was having fun in there. It was a hell of a fight. I told the fans I would give them a hell of a fight, and that's what I did. Me and [uncle and trainer] Roger [Mayweather] did it. It was easy work for me. He was rough and tough, but he couldn't beat the best."

According to CompuBox statistics, Mayweather landed 207 of 481 punches (43 percent). De La Hoya landed 122 of 587 (21 percent).

Comments made after the fight by Floyd Mayweather Jr. are still that he is as of now RETIRED but he said that if the fans demand a rematch there maybe talk of that in the future.

Mayweather was much less busy in that round, but still probably landed the more effective punches.

Chingy Is Back With DTP

Chingy has officially returned to Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace imprint after having a falling out several years ago.

The St. Louis bred rapper began his career on the DTP label in 2003 and gained national attention with his hit single "Right Thurr" which was featured on his multi-platinum debut, Jackpot.

In early 2004, Chingy would sever ties with the label after claiming his money was being mismanaged. He would then release two more albums on Capitol Records, Powerballin' and Hoodstar, respectively. Both albums would suffer from low sales.

A track by the rapper, titled "Make That Money," recently leaked onto the net where he confirms his come back to his old camp. "Was gone for a minute, back with the crew /Who?/ DTP so if you on top, we came to move you." Listen to Audio Here

Details on Chingy's upcoming album on DTP are yet to be revealed but it has been confirmed that he will appear on DTP's compilation album, Strength In Numbers, which will hit shelves in early July.

Top NFL Cornerback Prospect from PGH!!!!

Revis is not only a physical shutdown cornerback, but he also excels as a punt returner. The 2006 Jim Thorpe Award (nation's top defensive back) semifinalist is a versatile defender, having made a successful move to right cornerback from the left side before his final senior season.

As a senior, Revis became the first player in Pittsburgh history to return interceptions for touchdowns in consecutive games (vs. Virginia and Cincinnati). He also scored twice on punt returns during his career (vs. West Virginia in 2006 and Cincinnati in 2005). A mainstay in the Panthers' secondary, he started 34 of 35 games for Pitt.

Tony Yayo's Mom's Home Shot Up

The Queens, NY home of Tony Yayo's mother was riddled with bullets last night (Apr. 18), sources told AllHipHop.com.

While details are still being revealed, sources said the house was shot up last night around midnight.

No shots were heard outside, indicating that silencers may have been used in the shooting.

Yayo, born Marvin Bernard, is accused of assaulting the 14-year-old son of Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond.

He was charged on Mar. 25 on one count of misdemeanor assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Yayo was released on $5,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court on Apr. 25.

But everybody ain’t gonna get it, so I gotta make the “Roc Tha Mic”s and the “Mac Bitches” to draw ’em in. And then when they get the album they can catch them real songs. Because them other songs? They be cool but there ain’t no relevance to them for real for real. For real! Most people won’t even say that! “Roc Tha Mic” was a big record, but where’s the relevance to it? Where’s the substance? There ain’t no relevance to it but going in the club and partying. I got other records that I want you to catch, and if I gotta use that as bait to bring you in so that you hear some real music, then I gotta do that. Yeah.
