Chingy Is Back With DTP

Chingy has officially returned to Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace imprint after having a falling out several years ago.

The St. Louis bred rapper began his career on the DTP label in 2003 and gained national attention with his hit single "Right Thurr" which was featured on his multi-platinum debut, Jackpot.

In early 2004, Chingy would sever ties with the label after claiming his money was being mismanaged. He would then release two more albums on Capitol Records, Powerballin' and Hoodstar, respectively. Both albums would suffer from low sales.

A track by the rapper, titled "Make That Money," recently leaked onto the net where he confirms his come back to his old camp. "Was gone for a minute, back with the crew /Who?/ DTP so if you on top, we came to move you." Listen to Audio Here

Details on Chingy's upcoming album on DTP are yet to be revealed but it has been confirmed that he will appear on DTP's compilation album, Strength In Numbers, which will hit shelves in early July.

About Me

I'm very interested in Money...I've met her once and I can't live without her, she makes me feel good, but I'm strong enough to know that too much of her wouldn't be healthy. So I always make time for Money, a day that I take her out and show her the things I like. I make Money and Money is just starting to realize that she can't make me.
